Dr. Carson Liu shares how a patient can increase her weight loss after bariatric surgery.
Dr. Liu:
The key factor that I believe in is activity. You really need to move around 30 minutes a day, and we are going to teach you how to eat appropriately the healthy foods, and the band itself or the bypass itself will limit the volume of food. So the main thing is activity. The successful weight loss patient incorporate exercise, and they continue to exercise after the surgery. We need to move a little bit more on a daily basis.
