Kathy introduces herself and recalls what it felt like when she was having a heart attack.
Kathy:
My name is Kathy B, I am a cardiac patient. In 2003, I had a triple bypass after having experienced a heart attack and since then I have had stents put in my legs as well from some blockage in both right and left legs.
It felt, I was very tired. I had a very long work week and that was very stressful, and I realized all at once that I had had some pressure on my chest that got considerably worse as the evening progressed. It got like a tightness; there was a squeezing, and it just occurred to me all of a sudden that perhaps I was having a heart attack even though I didn’t feel like what I had heard a heart attack should feel like.
