Kathy:
Yes, I do. It starts here and goes all the way down to my mid-section. I really thought it would make a difference, but it doesn’t. My husband has been very supportive of me throughout the surgery and when I knew there was going to be scarring, I kind of asked him how he felt about it and he said, “It didn’t matter.”

He really didn’t care. He was concerned that I was concerned. He was worried that I’d be more self-conscious about it, but his acceptance of it helped me to accept it. And there’s things that you can buy to help diminish the appearance of the scars if you want to, but I really didn’t feel I needed to do that.
