If your boyfriend did not ejaculate, and he was wearing a condom, there would be no chance of pregnancy.

Hi Abi,

If he was wearing clothes and there was no penetration or ejaculation, your chances of getting pregnant are slim to none. Try not to worry as pregnancy usually requires penetration and ejaculation and in your case, neither of the two occurred.

If you're still worried about pregnancy you may take a pregnancy test when you are close to your next period or, for best results, wait until your next period is late.

Best Wishes!

Glad your situation seems to have resolved itself. I hope this is one thing you won't need to worry about in the future.

Ok, so me and my boyfriend were rubbing on eachother. He had on boxers and I was naked. He didn't ejaculate in me or anything and he has never even gone inside me. Well now I am three days late for my period. It was supposed to start on the 25th and it's the 28th. This is February and only has 28 days in it, so I am thinking maybe that has something to do with it and it will start in the next few days? I am usually not very late, but could it just be my body changing or something? I am so worried and scared. Please someone calm my fears! I am 22 years old.

Hi Anonymous,
Yes, it's completely possible it will start in the next couple days. It's normal for your period to change anywhere in the range from 28-32 days. If you skip your period, keep track of it on a calendar, and any symptoms. Be sure to not put yourself at increased risk for pregnancy by using condoms or getting on birth control pills (or both!). If you don't get your period for 90 days you may want to make an appointment with your doctor to see what's going on. There are several things that can cause your period to change or skip like excessive exercise, stress, poor diet, sickness, etc.
For more information, please review: How to Know if Your Period is Normal, and The Misconceptions of Sex.
Good luck, and let us know how you're doing.

Hi again,
My personal experience with implantation bleeding is that if it lasts longer than a few hours or a day, and is heavier than one panty liner, or tampon, it's likely your period or some cause other than pregnancy. For more information, please review this: Bleeding in Pregnancy, What's Normal and What's Not?
In answer to your other question, there is a psychological condition called pseudocyesis, or false pregnancy, in which a woman can exhibit pregnancy symptoms when she isn't actually pregnant.

Ok thank you. I was just wondering if you could elaborate more on the implantation bleeding vs period bleeding? I know that it had to be my period because from what I know a women who is pregnant cannot bleed that way right? It would be good for me to know in the future and I really appreciate your help. I have one more question though...can your mind believe something like maybe being pregnant and your body start to mimick signs and symptoms because of it? I believe this is what happened to me. I feel so embarrassed that I have made myself sick because of this. From what you have said I just need to relax and stop thinking it could be a possiblity because all the "stars would have to be aligned for this to happen" right? Thanks again.
