Wellness Coach Deborah Kesten recalls the best food choices for healthier living.

Deborah Kesten:
The best foods that women can eat to be healthy and to achieve optimal weight is more often than not, most often as often as feasibly possible, not as a written diet, as it generally, usually most of the time way of eating, is to eat lots of fresh fruits, eat lots of fresh veggies, and have fresh whole grains and beans and peas and when you have animal-based food, which most of us do, lean and low-fat dairy and fish and meat and poultry.

The concept is to have fresh, fresh, fresh food as often as possible, real food, and when you have the pepperoni and you have the Twinkie and you have the Haagen Dazs, enjoy it. I am suggesting that that not be the “most of the time” way of eating, though.
