Patients that you only recognize by reading your notes and seeing preoperative pictures because you don’t recognize patients showing in a door of, of your office, that’s something that’s unique to bariatric surgery and that’s one of many surprising benefits that give surgeons satisfaction, in addition to elimination or corrections of the multiple comorbidities in most cases.

About Dr. Andrew Hajduczek, M.D.:

Dr. Andrew Hajduczek was born and raised in Poland where he graduated from The Silesian Medical Academy and finished internship and surgical training (5 years). After immigrating to the United States, he completed internship and the surgical residency program at UCI Medical Center in Orange, CA and started in busy private practice in the South Bay area in 1988. The scope of his practice included all aspects of general surgery (including laparoscopic – since 1990) as well as vascular and thoracic surgery. He served as Chief of Surgery in three hospitals (double terms after first being a Vice Chief there).
