A lunchtime peel is one of the light chemical peels that a woman can have, they come into the office, they wash their face, the peel is performed and they can quiet literally leave the table, put their makeup back on and go back to work and that’s where the term lunchtime peel came into being. So lunchtime treatments are now treatments that a woman can have that basically have no down time. It is a treatment you can have and then you can go out that night. So light chemical peels like vitalized peels or a lunchtime peel, glycolic acid peels or a lunch peel. Microdermabrasion treatments which are almost analogous to the lunchtimes peels in a sense that instead of putting a medicine on your skin that peels away the very top layer of the dead skin layer you have a machine that goes over the skin and gently abrades away this top layer of skin and sucks those dead skins cells back up into the machine so you can literally go out feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. A series of lunchtime peels or a series of microdermabrasion peels which we call soap peels can prove fine lines, they can improve slightly deeper wrinkles, they can improve your skin tone and texture, they help with acne, they help with pigmentation. So they are very effective treatments for woman that cannot have down time and want to have gradual improvement over time. We almost always recommend them in combination with a rejuvenating cream at home at night and of course daily use of sunscreen.
