Sex with an Uncircumcised Man

I’ll be honest; I had to do a lot of research before sitting down to write this article. I have only come into contact with one uncircumcised penis during my short stint as a single adult woman, and it didn’t really seem to be that big of a deal at the time.

However, when it comes to uncircumcised (commonly spelled "uncercumsized") penises, there’s more than meets the eye . Approximately 50% of men are “uncut,” which is really how the penis is meant to be in the first place (not many men outside the United States are circumcised). Circumcision originated among ancient religious populations as a way to purify man by removing the source of his sexual pleasure. This tradition has held its ground into the 21st century, which can lead to quite a bit of confusion when a woman unexpectedly comes into contact with a penis au naturale.

It may surprise you to learn that the foreskin itself, before it is separated from its owner, is extremely sensitive to pleasure. During circumcision two very important things are removed that will never grow back: the frenulum, the band near the tip of the penis that connects the foreskin with the glans, and then of course, the foreskin and all the nerve endings that go along with it.

Not only are these sources of pleasure eliminated during circumcision, but the shaft of the penis is left unprotected and slowly loses its responsiveness through a process called keratinization. In an article published in Fathering Magazine, Rio Cruz explains that “the male glans and inner foreskin, just like the clitoris and inner labia of women, are actually internal structures covered by mucous membrane that, when exposed to the air and harsh environment through circumcision, develop a tough, dry covering to protect the delicate, sensitive tissue.”

The main difference in having sex with an uncircumcised penis is that the foreskin acts as a glider of sorts, and it stays in place while the glans and shaft continue to thrust. This leads to less friction in the vagina and thus a more pleasurable experience for the female. For circumcised men who are experiencing gradual loss of sensation throughout the course of their lifetime, there actually is a process of foreskin restoration that involves the use of tape and weights (?).

So when all is said and done, you (and your partner) are actually likely to have much better sex with a penis that is uncircumcised. If you’re performing oral sex and looking for tips, just focus your efforts on the ridge just below the glans and use your hand to help the foreskin go with the flow. That's all there is to it!

Ask data that says "The rates of infections is the same as, or lower in intact countries than in circumcising countries." Because from what I've gathered, uncircumcised men are more prone to HIV and HPV that can be passed to their sexual partners.

You've gathered wrong. I'll agree that this is being promoted by circumcision promoters but they are wrong. The US has the highest circumcision rate of any industrialized nation and also the highest HIV infection rate. This is simply impossible if male circumcision had any significant protective factor at all.

Anyway, another thing is:
(1) its a trademark for manhood
(2) its not messy when it comes to sex

"1) its a trademark for manhood"
Being less of a man is NOT a trademark for manhood!
"(2) its not messy when it comes to sex"

What in hell are you talking about? Care to explain when female genitals are inherently more messy than any intact man?

Well Ashley, which would RATIONAL men prefer- retracting, rinsing, and replacing to eliminate this IMAGINED dirt AND still having all of your normal sensation; or one you can rinse the REAL dirt off of without having to retract AND losing up to 3/4 of your penile sensation?

Rationally, I don't think there is any argument to be made here. And when you look at circumcision logically, there is no valid reason for even considering it at all.

EXACTLY, the problem with those pushing circumcision are in reality, pushing MYTHS to try to justify their obsession with the unnatural condition for their various pathological mental predispositions, and not the factual information.

When asked to support those myths, they always fail to do so with actual REAL WORLD stats.

Exactly, it does not take much to clean a natural penis! Both my nephews are all natural, my husband and my son and none have ever had an infection!

I like the research but I don't think uncircumcised penis is advantageous for a guy because it traps all the dirt inside the skin and thus can lead to infection. Asian countries promote circumcision.

Ashley, a few problems with your "facts."

"I like the research but I don't think uncircumcised penis is advantageous for a guy because it traps all the dirt inside the skin and thus can lead to infection."

No, actually the foreskin protects against that dirt. It simply covers the glans and the normal and natural secretions seal it from entry.

Additionally, any bacterials or fungals are the same ones found in the female vulva. You see, these organisms can not discern or discriminate between male and female cells so they are the same in both sexes. However, population counts are higher in females because cervical mucous feeds these bacteria and fungals.

An interesting note, . . .A round of antibiotics can kill off these bacteria. These bacteria "eat" fungals and the dearth of them will often leave the area susceptible to fungal (yeast) infections. A popular homeopathic and highly effective remedy to re-establish these colonies is to apply plain, unsweetened yogurt on the area. You see, the same active "live" bacterial cultures that make yogurt what it is are the ones that "infect" the foreskin.

At any one time, the human body is host to more than 300 different specie/varieties of bacteria. They are an essential part of our immune system and digestive system. Without them, we would be cronically ill and we would starve to death regardless of how much food we ate.

"Asian countries promote circumcision."

This is not true with the exception of Korea which picked up the fad/habit from American servicemen during The Korean War. No other country in Asia circumcises their babies, not a single one!

I'm not implying that it is a fact. It's just a mere observation. The foreskin protects it but it also serves as a place to trap those dirt inside. I just said that because I happen to visit the Philippines and they have all these programs about circumcision and frankly, I have nothing against it. My bad for generalizing them as Asian countries. One question, so do you think it's better if a man is circumcised or not?
