Cinderella Sweets is recalling some of their Kosher for Passover items due to the fact that they are mislabeled as being egg-free, when in fact they contain egg. This may lead to a customer purchasing them specifically because they are supposed to be egg-free and then having a potentially life threatening reaction.
The ingredients list on the products clearly state egg and there is an allergen statement in bold type on the packaging. Due to the misleading statement that they are egg-free, they are being recalled.

The affected products are:

SHABTAI GOURMET DAISY COOKIES 10 oz 8-50097 00106-6
SHABTAI GOURMET LEAF COOKIES 10 oz 8-50097 00105-9
SHABTAI GOURMET COCONUT MACAROONS 13 oz 8-50097-00111-0
SHABTAI GOURMET CHOC COATED COCONUT MACAROONS 14 oz 8-50097-00112-7

The product is in a white window cookie box with the SHABTAI name in a planet Saturn logo with a bakery-style red and white border around the box. All of the listed items are suspended until the problem is corrected.

Customers who have purchased any of the items should return them to the place of purchase. If you have any questions you can email them at [email protected] or phone them on 516-374-7976.
