Beverly discusses why she enjoys participating in the Adult Fitness Program At Banner North Colorado Medical Center.

Beverly:
Oh I believe I am just very grateful to have a facility like this here that are thinking ahead enough to create this type of situation for us that we can come here, that we can do what we need to do, do what we want to do, maintain a healthy lifestyle, be among friends, be among acquaintances, and I’m impressed with the fact that this North Colorado Medical Center is fore thinking ahead and will do this.

When we come to this facility we are not just a number. That we could go to a health club, we could just be someone else that comes in and does their routine or has a personal trainer or whatever. That’s not the case here because here we are real people. We have been through rehab, many of us have, the cardiovascular rehab program that they have. We go into the fitness group because that’s where we want to be and they take care of us. They know us. They know our history.

You go to a health club, do they know that you had a heart attack and nearly died? No. So that’s why we’re here. We like it; we enjoy it. We enjoy the preventive facilities that they offer us for diet and it’s just a wonderful place to be.
