This article is misleading. For people with slow colon transit and delayed stomach emptying, ingesting tons of fiber is the worst advice you can give people like that. Ditto for encouraging people to ingest Epsom Salts. You really need to vet your articles better.

However, I would like to add a warning regarding the oral use of Epsom salt.
Epsom salt, which is magnesium sulfate, should only be used occasionally and never at a higher dose than recommended on the package or by your physician. In high doses it can cause serious life-threatening side effects and can interact with certain medications, particularly antibiotics.
