Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Pyelonephritis happens when a urinary tract infection is not treated and turns into a kidney infection.

Without proper treatment, pyelonephritis can lead to sepsis, renal abscesses, high blood pressure, and kidney failure. The acute kidney infection causes death in severe cases, with a mortality rate of 7.3 per 1,000 cases in women (16.5 per 1,000 cases in men).

Anon, you need immediate medical care, not a heating pad. Please seek help asap.
Best,
Susan
