I had sex with my husband just two days after my menses finished on sept 5. I got my menses on 26 september with huge clots for the first time and it lasted for 10 days! prior to that I experienced spotting for 2- 3 days! And I again got my menses on 11 oct which was just like my normal one! I am not on pills or something! Was it a miscarriage or something else! We are planning for a child! kindly help me through!

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. I am glad you reached out to us with your question if this bleeding with clots could have been a miscarriage.
According to the March of Dimes, as many as 50% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage -- most often before a woman misses a menstrual period or even knows she is pregnant.
Symptoms of a miscarriage include bleeding which progresses from light to heavy, severe cramps,abdominal pain, fever, and weakness, along with back pain.
Anonymous, mention this to your gynecologist. Since you are trying to conceive, if this was a miscarriage, your doctor will want to monitor you extra closely during a future pregnancy.
