Hello Anon
Thank you for writing.
Hepatitis C is an infection of the liver. It is caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV).
There is a cure - medications, according to WebMD, called :
Ledipasvir-sofosbuvir (Harvoni)
Ombitasvir-paritaprevir-dasabuvir-ritonavir (Viekira Pak)
Simeprevir (Olysio)
Sofosbuvir (Sovaldi)

How long it takes for a cure is up to the kind of virus you have and how your body reacts to it. Your doctor can tell you more.
Good luck-
Susan
