Q:

Is it possible to ovulate and not have a period?

I have missed my period this month but I'm not pregnant. I definitely felt a pain in my left side around day 14 of my cycle. Is it possible that I ovulated and didn't get my period or could the pain be a sign of something else? Maybe PCOS?
Thanks

Hi K

I will suggest again that you see your gynecologist. We cannot diagnose what is going on with you. There are many things that can cause pain in your left side, so it is not certain that you ovulated. Because you are having ongoing issues with your cycle and a possible PCOS diagnosis, it is really important that you see your gynecologist to find out what is going on with your body and make sure you are okay. I would hate for you to have complications of PCOS or anything else because you didn't see your physician.

Take care.
