I take Microgestin Fe 1/20. I missed the first three pills in my pill pack (Sun-Tues), im a Sunday starter. I had unprotected sex on that Sunday. I took two pills a day from Wed- Fri. Friday after eating and about an hour after I took the pills I vomited. I took 1 pill a day since then. I had unprotected sex the Sunday directly after I vomited. What are the chances that I ovulated during Week 2 after taking two pills a day for three days? Could I still have gotten pregnant?

I am on Nortrel 1/35 the 28 pack and i have been on my period going on for about 3 weeks now and i had forgot to take my pill 2 days in a row and i had sex unprotected in that time. How likely are my chances are pregnancy even after i have made the pills up.

Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. Since you had to double up on your pills, this sounds like the reason for the nausea and not feeling well. Since this only occurred last week, it is too early to test for pregnancy but from your explanation, I would say that there is a highly unlikely chance that you are pregnant. You will have to wait to see if you miss a period in order to know for sure. Good luck.

Hello.. I take cryselle 28 and am a Sunday starter. Last week I had unprotected sex on the last day of my period (late saturday night, early sunday morning), and forgot to take my sunday and monday pill until early tuesday morning (around 1 am). I then took my tuesday pill that night and continued taking my pills normally. I am pretty good about taking them daily, but honestly have had to "double up" more often then I'd like to admit lately. It has now been a week since then and I am having nausea, white-watery discharge, and cramping (hopefully all stress related). What's my risk of being pregnant, and how early can I test? I am concerned about continuing to take my birth control in case I am pregnant. Thanks.
