I have been diagnosed with hep C and have to wait 8 months for treatment, has anyone else experienced the treatment and what is involved?

Anon - Why do you have to wait eight months for treatment? That seems like a long time to have to wait for medical care.

Treatments vary according to patient needs. Some do not need any medications, just monitoring. Others may be treated with anti-viral medications, and still others may have a liver transplant.
