Q:

I can't breathe

Recently I've had trouble breathing and I feel like I've forgot to breathe, and I can't concentrate on anything as I get nervous and when I try to talk I get out of breath and start crying. It's happened over the last couple days but it seems to get worse in the night time. I've got a mucus in my throat and nose and I've been dehydrated (I'm always dehydrated ) and there is a lump in my neck. My throat has been injured recently as I wear a headscarf and it has been really tight as there is a red line and indentation formed on my throat. Alike, when I talk or eat I feel short of breath. Could all of this be linked? I've tried everything from gargling salt water to vicks vapour rub and trying to regurgitate the mucus out of my throat. (the latter worked for a bit but my throat felt sore and ached)

Bearing in mind, I also suffer from allergic rhinitis, and have been burping a lot through the day

Hi, Anon.

I'm sorry you are going through this.

Whatever might be going on, I'm sure your anxiety over it is not helping either. You need to see a doctor, it's the only way to know exactly what is going on. Keep us updated.
