Guide

Hello, Anon.

Thank you for writing.

The approximate time when pneumonia is contagious varies with the type of pneumonia (infecting agent) and may range from a few days to weeks. What did your doctor say? Have you had a follow-up? A cough can linger, even if you are no longer contagious and have finished with treatment.

You may be ok to go back to work if you are otherwise feeling well. If you are not feeling well overall, it might be best to stay home a bit longer. Check in with your doctor.
