Sally Field recalls if any relatives have had osteoporosis.
Sally Field:
Yes, I do, I definitely do. I remember my father’s mother. She was little like I am. I’m a small person, very small person and she was the only one in the family that was like me. I obviously take after her and she, I remember her. I didn’t know her. She didn’t live to be all that very old and I remember her as being very bent over and very fragile, frail looking.
That was my grandmother Jen and then my grandmother Joy, on my mother’s side, had osteoporosis way later in her life. She lived into her 90s, but I felt angry when I found out and it was also because in those days they didn’t have the tests or the medications, but she was always a very hardy woman, really, just cantankerous, kind of in a great way. And the last years of her life were in a lot of pain because she broke her back because she had osteoporosis and it had never been diagnosed.
But I don’t know that the treatment would have been available to her, but it saddens me because I just wish that the tail end of her life had not been so painful for her.

Great Video, this is important information for every woman. I have made sure that my hormones are in balance and am taking a daily, high quality calcium.
Thanks Todd.
