Dr. Navarro recalls if spider vein removal by sclerotherapy is a painful procedure.

Dr. Navarro:
Not really, we use needles that are extremely thin so you can feel when the needle goes through the skin, but it’s at the level of a mosquito bite. If still, you are not happy with a mosquito bite, we can give you a cream to apply to the skin half an hour, one hour before coming for the treatment, which will numb the skin.
