Good luck, and I look forward to hearing back from you after your test results from the fertility specialist.

My doctor has been testing me for different things for years and still has no idea what's wrong. Sooner or later, I'm going to run out of blood! I don't live an anywhere near stressful life. I don't work and I don't have many friends, so I sit around with my cats all day. Still no luck on the pregnancy thing. But, I'm going to the fertility specialist for some more testing and a full work up on the 25th. So, I'll let you know how it goes!

I understand what you mean! When we are trying to conceive, all of the new moms and pregnant women really do appear to be everywhere.

Have you asked your doctor for any testing, in order to find underlying causes for your short cycle (a period every 2 weeks is an extremely short cycle). I could agree with this occurring a few times and have it due to stress, but if it were me, I would want to see if there were any issues with my hormone levels to know why I am experiencing short cycles (and, is it leading to any type of infertility issues...although you still have some time before this is even on the radar).

It is frustrating to try so long...I know (have been there). You can also empower yourself with more positive thinking and stress reducing strategies (yoga, meditation, exercise, eating healthy, seeing friends, doing things you love, listening to music) on a daily basis. Maybe you could even feel less stress and can rule this out as a reason for short cycles.

Please let us know how you are doing!

The most challenging thing emotionally for me, is to see other people who are pregnant. My husband and I have only been trying for 8 months, but we're young and in good shape. I look at all the 15 and 16 year olds on tv and in Walmart who aren't even old enough to understand the responsibilities being a parent brings, who are pregnant. It breaks my heart. And to think about all the drug addicts and murderers and genuinely bad people can get pregnant without even trying (to concieve or protect themselves from becoming parents).
Physically, my body doesn't seem to be cooperating. I get my period every 2 weeks. My doctors think it's mostly from stress. Worrying about this giant life leap.
