will i be safe??

i just got my period today july 17..and im gonna start my new pack this wednesday..but i dont wanna start..and im regularly meeting my bf during weekends..if im not gonna start will i be safe on days 22 and 29 from getting pregnant..please please help....

Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer. No, you will not be safe if you stop taking your birth control pills. You should be taking the pill everyday and if you miss some, you should always use a backup method of protection such as condoms. If you do not, you will risk pregnancy.
