This is the very first time I got Mersa I'm 60 yrs of age never had any skin problems, I have no idea how I got this it started with a boil under armpit , then after a week i got one on my eyebrow , thus was a big nasty one it wouldn't come to a head so went to medi center she took a culture and just gave me the results it's Mersa , I'm a nervous wreck never had any infections or skin problems, and I have 4 small grandchildren I will I take care of them , please get back to me I'm desperate.. the one near my eyebrow looks like it all out and starting to close , do I lea e it uncovered or keep bandaids on it.???

MRSA is spread by contact. So, a person could get MRSA by touching another person who has it on the skin. Or you could get it by touching objects that have the bacteria on them. What did your doctor say about taking care of your grandchildren? I would be extremely careful. Until you can ask your doctor, you might want to keep the area bandaged.
