Hi Elena

I am so very sorry to hear of your mother's diagnosis. Sometimes the symptoms vary with the treatment, because for instance, if she is on chemo she may have side effects from that. Generally speaking, people with liver cancer have jaundice (their skin and eyes turn a yellowish color), pain, and usually quite a bit of nausea. They have difficulty eating due to nausea, and may vomit often. They become quite weak because they are malnourished.

We do have a page on liver cancer here: https://www.empowher.com/condition/liver-cancer I saw at the bottom of your post you tagged it with mets. If this has metastasized from a primary location, there will be symptoms associated with the other cancerous areas as well.

Clotting factors are made by your liver, so sometimes when the liver stops working there may be issues with bleeding as well. Another very good source of information and additional sources is the National Institutes of Health: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/livercancer.html

Again, I'm so sorry about your mother. If we can be of further help, please write again.
