Are you asking if your levels are high or are you taking this level as a supplement?

The recommended dosage of B12 is about 2.4 mcg per day, therefore 5000 mcg is excessive. However, the body generally rids itself of too much B12 through urine out-take so it's not dangerous.

If taking a 5000 mcg supplement you can take far less daily or take one or two supplements weekly.
