pregnant on birth control

i have been pn birthcontrol for about three or four months and my cyles have been normal up til last month it was too light this time and i am usually a normal bleeder. i took a test and one came back blank the other negative and these were home tests too. im showing all the signs of being pregnant is it still possible?

Hi Carlotta,
If you are having unprotected sex, there is always a possibility of pregnancy even on birth control. Since you bled, even though not your normal bleeding, I would say you have not missed a period and therefore, highly unlikely that you are pregnant. You also mentioned that you have taken a pregnancy test that came back negative which is another indicator that you are probably not pregnant.

Wait for your next cycle and see if there is still abnormality. Even using birth control, you can still experience irregularity from time to time. This is common for most women. If you experience any pain, please contact your physician.
