Q:

Period or ectopic pregnancy?

I got my tubes tied in February(previous to that I was on mirena with no periods) so I've only had a few periods since so I'm not used to my body's changes yet. The first one after the procedure was very heavy but not really painful at all. The next 2 seemed like my normal mensuration mild cramping. The one I'm on now started off as what seemed like spotting but I've had extremely painful cramps with it but now it's heavy and the cramps are so bad I don't want to get out of bed. I never really had cramping with my periods before. My husband and I haven't been very careful because we didn't think the extra precaution was necessary do to having my tubes tied. So I guess my question is, is it possible I'm having an ectopic pregnancy? Or is this normal with getting your tubes tied?
