I had sex with my boyfriend last night and the condom broke and he ejaculated inside of me. I am also on Nuvaring, but I was on the ring free week. I inserted my new nuvaring on time this morning. Can I be certain I wont get pregnant?

From what you say, you use your Nuvaring contraception correctly - you put the new ring on the correct day, so it's safe. Nuvaring functions the same way as oral contraceptives which also have a "week off" in which you start your period usually. so relax, there is no risk here, unless if you've been taking some other medication that may interfere with Nuvaring. if that's not your case, there's nothing you should worry about here!
