I have a spray from the Dr. which helps for a short while. I can count on a drippy nose when i go in the kitchen or go out to a restaurant

Hello. Thank you for posting.

You can take over-the-counter medications to help with mucus. Ask your doctor if he thinks this might help. Prescription nasal sprays usually work well.
