My boyfriends has two kids with his ex wife and this ex wife is getting into my nerves.she calls my boyfriend 5 times a day especially in the middle of the night she visits him in the house while am there she lives with the son and my boyfriend with the daughter so i really need help dont know what to do cause dont want to lose him.

May 3, 2011 - 10:24amI agree with Alison, you may want to talk with your boyfriend and find out the nature of the calls and visits. If it's legitimately involved with the children, then you may need to call a truce with the ex-wife. She unfortunately comes as a package deal with your boyfriend, and will always be involved (it's her right) where the children are involved. Your boyfriend and her need to set up ground rules for communication so it is respectful to your current life together. It's really all you can do. And if for some reason it doesn't play with you, then you can decide to move on from it. The choice is yours, and we can't tell you what to do, but talking with them in a adult manner (avoid the drama), and figure it out so everyone, and especially the children, are happy.

Can you tell us the reasons for her visits and frequent calls to her ex-husband? Are they related to the children?
What is your boyfriend's feelings about this, and is your boyfriend very involved in his children's lives? (This is a GOOD thing!)

Ok when we met with my boyfriend at first he used to live alone with the kids so the ex-wife left for long time she didnt even care about the kids so my boyfriend had a babby sitter who looked after the kids while he was working,so we dated for long and when she new that his ex-husband has someone in his life,she claimed for her son who is the youngest,so when she took the son it was now when she started with the calls and the visits.And lately we have been doing renovation in the house with my boyfriend,so her visits was checking how was the going around the house,and all i know is that the relation between the ex wife and their daughter is bad so most of the time when she calls the daughter doesnt want to talk to her.my boyfriend feels bad about it and he already told the ex-wife to stop the calls but she still takes advantage my boyfriend really cares for his kids.
