Mite infestation

My roommate made a bird cage above his shower we have birds all year long and now mites and yellowing clothing with holes. What do i do, we have health issues and in dire need of a stratigy.

To treat bird mite bites, apply an anti-itch cream to soothe the itchiness. You can apply an insect repellent with DEET in it to prevent getting bitten. To rid your house of bird mites, first remove all bird nests/cages that are on, in, or around your home. Then you'll want to spray your home with an insecticide or call an exterminator. I think calling an exterminator is your best option.
