Not interested in any of the current allopathic treatments that I cannot take because of my medical history nor would I take even if I had no medical history.

The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) provides the most recent information regarding proven homeopathic (CAM) remedies for RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis): http://nccam.nih.gov/health/RA/.
The summary:
"In general, there is not enough scientific evidence to firmly establish that any CAM therapies are safe and effective for RA. Some mind-body therapies and dietary supplements may be beneficial additions to RA treatment regimens, but more high-quality research is needed before drawing conclusions."
However, even though this sounds discouraging, there are many CAM remedies suggested that have "promise", either in helping the immune system and/or helping to relieve symptoms.
Please let us know if you try any of these remedies (please talk with your doctor first!), and we will continue searching for other new research treatments.
