Hi, I guess for the purposes of this, my name is Carly
I'm on birth control but I missed the first pill of my active week completely and then missed the second one by a couple of hours. My boyfriend and I had sex without a condom multiple times but I took both pills as soon as I got home...how much of a possibility is there that I could be pregnant?

Everytime yu forget a pill it raises your chances of becoming pregnant.. wait until your expected period and take a home pregnancy test.. I know how it is I'm in the same situation.

You wont be pregnant because if you had sex the day after your period ended its really unlikely to get knocked up. you get pregnant on the days your ovualting and the days right before ovulation, which is anywhere from 13 to 17 days after your period. the first 1-2 days after your period are the most unlikely time to get pregnant, you should be clear. if you plan on not using condoms both of you should get checked out before sleeping together, better safe than all HIVed up. hahah

Ok this is my question.
Im on Ortho Tri-Cyclen i have been for about 6 months give or take a month. I started my white pills on May 17th. My last peroid started May 13th and ended the 17th early morning. I missed one of my while pills but didnt realise it. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and he ejaculated inside me. (which i NEVER let happen) I realised i forgot my pills and took it. I looked up on the First Response Ovulation calculator and it said i would most likely be ovulating May 20th to 24th. We had the unprotected sex on the 20th. Im really scared. its only been about a week or so but ive been so paranoid. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

No, if you had your regular menstrual period, then you would not be pregnant.

this is confusing, so you are saying if someone has withdrawal bleeding, (because as we all know bleeding on the pill is not actually a period) can not be pregnant and there is no way they can be. Well that's not true for me I missed one pill on day 11 had unprotected sex day 12 (missed that days pill too) and started bleeding day 13 (so decided not to take the pill because of a horrible reaction to it and i thought i was getting a period and no way could be pregnant). I never had sex after that for 2.5 weeks and guess what 3 weeks later had a positive pregnant test.

Hi there,

I've been taking birth control pills for years. I've been on Kariva for about 2 years. I forgot my pill tuesday and wednesday... had sex with my fiance last night (thursday) and then realized I missed those two pills so took them and my usual pill for that night (3 pills total). I realize I probably should not have done this and today I feel bloated and almost nauseous and out of it.

Anyway, on my pack it says to continue to take my pills and restart a pack Sunday (I'm a Sunday starter). Is this enough or should I take the 'morning after' pill also.

I'm getting married in October and needless to say I won't be able to fit in my dress if I'm pregnant, not to make less of the fact that we aren't ready for the responsibility of bringing a life into this world! Help!

Thanks!
