In Nov 2016 I was diagnosed with Valley Fever. I spent 14 days in ICU. I believe the Valley Fever dissimenated to meningitis (water on the brain). My infectious disease doctor is aware of the latest info. I am concerned it has been almost 3 months since the diagnosis and still have no plan to treat. Should I be worried?

Hello. Thank you for posting.

This is a question you need to ask your doctor who knows your health and the specifics of your condition. Hydrocephalus, also called Water on the Brain is a condition in which there is an abnormal buildup of CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) in the cavities (ventricles) of the brain. The buildup is often caused by an obstruction which prevents proper fluid drainage. Keep us updated.
