It might be is jock itch (Tinea cruris).The infection causes a rash that often itches or burns. The affected areas can also be red, flaky, or scaly. For a proper diagnosis, see your doctor. There are other causes of a rash in this area. Jock itch is fairly common in men and teenage boys.
