I have had the flu for a week now. When am I not contageous any more?

Generally a person is no longer contagious about 72 hours after the start of the flu and they should also be fever-free for at least 24 hours. As a precaution, if a person is still ill, they should avoid contact with pregnant women, the very young, old and those with compromised immune systems.
