I'm 29 yrs old, and I have fibroids and I'm done having kids, the Dr. said I could have a her option done that is a freeze that will help with the bleeding and cramps done in the office. But it does not get rid of the fibroids. I have 3 full 5-7 day periods a month and I know I'm getting anemic I'm alway tired I burise really easy cramp and bleed heavy. I can't decide If I want to spend the money on a her option freeze or to just have a partial hyst. I am young and I want the sex life with my husband I have now and I don't want it to change but i want to get rid of the fibroids bc they mess with my period so much. What is best freeze or partial hysterectomy? and if you have had a partial hyst are you normal or different?

Here is the answer that I provided to your question:
Hi Anon - It sounds like your main concern is the fibroids, and there are additional, alternative treatments. I suggest looking at our uterine fibroids page and reviewing some of the articles and videos. https://www.empowher.com/condition/uterine-fibroids

I also hope other women will respond to your question and share their own experiences and thoughts with you.
