I had sex on my 6th day of period and started the oral contraceptive the same night!

Is there a chance of pregnancy? I used the emergency contraception twice in the two previous months and I generally have a cycle of 30 days. I used the oral contraceptive until may and started it again as I said in the 6th day of my cycle! thank you!

Welcome to EmpowHER.

There was no risk of becoming pregnant because you were still having your period.

Never take an emergency contraceptive in two consecutive months.

If you were told to restart the oral contraceptives while having your period, that is fine.
