Q:

I had sex for the first time and it was unprotected on 14th and took 2 tabs of postinor 2 immediately. Breasts seemed soft next day. Also had bitter taste and tummy ache and acne. My expected period is on 19th. What is going on?

Hello and welome to EmpowHer,
The effectiveness of the pill as well as the side effects will depend on whether or not you took them correctly. The second pill is supposed to be taken 12 hours after the first.
If you took them at the same time, that would explain the tummy ache. The acne is probably from normal PMS because your period should come soon. However, since you took the pill right before your period, your cycle will probably be irregular in some way, especially if you took both pills at the same time.
You may also experience pregnancy-like symptoms such as nausea, fatigue, cramps, headaches etc. This does necessarily mean you are pregnant. It will most likely be side effects from the pill.
If the pill is effective your period will return to normal over time.

Thank you. Does that mean taking 2 pills at once reduces the effectiveness?

It is not safe to take any more emergency contraceptive pills. So do not do that. At this point there isn't any further steps you should take.
One thing you should be aware of is that if the female egg is not fertilized within about 5 days (give or take) of ovulation, pregnancy will not occur and it will be eliminated with the menstrual blood. If you track your ovulation days then perhaps you will be able to know whether or not pregnancy is even possible from that.

Hello Faith. I noticed some brown discharge yesterday the 19th. The discharge is not much. I'm still experiencing it today. It was much lighter yesterday. Could this be my period? Thanks for your help.

The brown discharge changed in colour yesterday 20th to blood and I'm still bleeding. How do I know for sure if this is due to the Postinor2 or if it's my normal period which was to start on the 19th? Thanks.

Whether the bleeding is from the EC or your regular period, it is still a good sign you may not be pregnant!
