I am sorry you are feeling so helpless, and it is important to take care of your mental and emotional health just as much as your physical health.

Please talk to a Psychologist...call first thing Monday...and talk about your feelings of suicide and helplessness due to your chronic illness. You need to be seen right away, and a Psychologist who specializes in chronic illness will understand the frustration, worry, concern and emotional toll that a physical condition can have on a person. If you feel like hurting yourself, please call 911. Do you have a friend or family member that knows of your suicidal feelings? Do you have anyone you can talk to tonight, before you call a counselor tomorrow morning?

After you take care of your immediate need to care for your mental and emotional wellness, we can talk about your physical condition. I am not understanding what your doctor means by "your stomach lining is depleted". Depleted of what? Is the lining thinner, or is it depleted of the good bacteria? Once you understand your exact diagnosis, we can help you research treatment options.

Lastly, have you been talking with an R.D. (Registered Dietitian) regarding the foods you can eat, and foods that will help your stomach heal (or, foods that do not further deplete your stomach--still unsure what this means). If you have not met with an R.D., please ask for a referral from your doctor, after learning more about your actual current diagnosis.

Please let us know when you call a Psychologist and your current doctor, and we can help you find answers based on the updated information. Take care...we will be thinking about you and hope to hear from you soon!
