I have a wet cough with yellow mucous, muscle aches, no energy, and chills. They gave me Benzonatate 100 mg. My symptoms are getting worse.

Hello. Thank you for writing.

If you think you are having a reaction and feel very ill, don't hesitate to see a doctor.

According to the CDC, mild side effects from the flu shot include soreness, redness or swelling at the injection site, low-grade fever, and aches. Symptoms of serious side effects include difficulty breathing, swelling around the eyes or lips, hives, racing heart, dizziness and high fever.
