I got a burn on face from application of Tea tree oil.

The skin turned brown-black and a blister appeared. I saw a dermatologist who gave a topical antibiotic ointment. Using that, the blister has gone away but the skin is still moist and brown-black. What shall I expect next? Will the skin become dry and peel off? What shall i do so that the mark does not stay?

Hello, Anon.

Thank you for your post.

Check with your dermatologist about this. Typically the area will heal over time. Keeping the area moist keeps it from drying out. But at this, point that's what your doctor may advise.
