I do a token poop almost always when I pee

I am now using a catheter once a day in the morning. I may have a poop (without pee) for the next few hours after I catheterize. By being catheterized the token poop doesn't happen. The token poop that happens when i go to pee is very wet and has puss in it and is jettisoned by gas. At night when i sit to pee the token poop starts a mock bile movement which may or may not bring additional poop and which takes about 15 min to end. I am up about 5 times a night. I am except for this in good health for a 83 year old.

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Pus in bowel movements often indicates an infection - since you are also having loose stools (and gas) an infection (either viral or bacterial) may be what is going on. You will need to inform your doctor about this. A stool sample will likely be taken and treatment will be based on the results of that sample.
I hope this clears up to you soon.
Best,
Susan
