I went to see a psychologist and was diagnosed with bipolar 1due to incidents like up and high moods depression mania. Other doctor said impossible

To be diagnosed with bipolar disorder, you have to fit strict criteria. Bipolar may be overdiagnosed. Strong mood swings do not mean a person has this disorder. Doctors have a set of criteria they look for. Bipolar disorder can begin in young childhood but is usually diagnosed later in childhood or in adulthood due to the patient being able to discuss their symptoms better and have a history of symptoms.
