Q:

how many cysts are too many?

through various doctors and tests, i.e.-M.R.I., C.T. Scan and Ultrasound, different doctors have found "innumerable" cysts on my lungs, liver and in my kidneys. For my lungs the assumption has been made that it is from histoplasmosis because I am from the Midwest. No reason has been given for my liver or kidneys but I have been told my kidneys is not PKD.
Is there a point that many cysts amounts to too many cysts and there could be something else happening in my body? If so, is thee a particular specialist I see about it? My pulmonologist has watched the cysts on my lungs (I have asthma) and PCP/kidneys. My liver is up for grabs :) I am a non-smoker/non-drinker, active premenopausal woman.

thank you for your time
