Thank you for sharing you question with the community.
Many things can cause spotting before or after a period. Even things as simple as stress, too little sleep, or hormone imbalances can cause it. There is usually no need for alarm unless is it accompanied by extreme pain, cramping, fever, or another severe symptoms.
If the spotting does continue to occur before or after your period, talk to your doctor.
