Hi, Anon.
Thank you for reaching out to us today.
Intramammary lymph nodes (IMLN) are lymph nodes within the breast tissue. They can be solitary or multiple. Normal intramammary lymph nodes may appear or enlarge in the breast as a reaction to inflammatory conditions of the skin. Anytime a woman is called back for evaluation of her breast, it's concerning. I have been there a few times myself! Further evaluation will provide answers. Definitely, follow up with your doctor and write down any questions you may have.
Please keep us updated.
All the best,
Helena
