I had a medical abortion five weeks ago and I passed out a medium sized tissue on the first day of my first cycle.
Is that normal, what should I do

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

The first period after a terminated pregnancy can be different to one that is normal. There may be a possibility that this was old tissue from your pregnancy. Many women have clots (tissue) during their periods - this is normal.
Please contact your health care provider if you have further concerns.
Best,
Susan
