Hello,
I am 22 years old and my boyfriend and I have been together for years, and plan to get married next year. I am curious to know if I could possibly be pregnant. I have always had very irregular periods, skipping months. Last November I started to get my periods each month regularly, even though they were long (about 1.5-2 weeks) I got them each month until I missed one this year around September 20th. I now haven't gotten my period and it's almost the end of November. We have only used the pullout method. I've taken two HPT (both in october). They were both negative. However, I have been feeling different and showing some symptoms. I was just wondering if that is possible.

Hi Anonymous and thanks for bringing your concerns to the EmpowHER community.
It sounds like you should make an appointment to see your gynecologist. First, while home pregnancy tests are generally reliable your doctor can order an additional test, a blood test for pregnancy, which you may find reassuring.
More importantly, irregular periods, and periods that last for as long as two weeks, need attention as they may indicate an underlying medical condition that needs attention.
It's hard to know why you are feeling different, but these symptoms indicate that you need to find out why you feel this way and see your doctor to get the answers you need to feel better.
Hope that helps,
Pam
